Famous South African actress Connie
Ferguson is reported to have been admitted to a health facility in after
consuming food believed to be poisoned.
According to a close source, Connie
Ferguson complained of severe abdominal pains after taking lunch served at a
restaurant on Tuesday. The name of this restaurant has not been disclosed yet.
“She was rushed to a nearby hospital where
medics confirmed her food was poisoned,” the source revealed. However, her
condition has been ruled out of danger by doctors.
A police spokesperson confirmed the
incident has been brought to the attention of the police and they have
commenced investigation. “A case of food poison was reported on Tuesday July
24, 2017 involving Connie Ferguson and food samples have been collected from
the restaurant for investigation.
